LEAN & 5S Certifications

In conjunction with St. Louis Community College and CBIL (Center for Business, Industry & Labor), 11 of our employees completed the 40-hour Introduction to Lean and 5S Certifications – Automated Gasket Corporation – leangraduationPrinciples taught by Terry Foushee and George Friesen. The group learned the basic principles of LEAN manufacturing including 5S, value stream mapping, and ways to lead others in a LEAN environment. These eleven individuals will now be charged with the responsibility of taking what they have learned to the shop floor. We are very proud of our graduates and we look forward to hearing their ideas on implementing LEAN.
